The registration period for local authority nurseries will this year take between Monday 17 January until 11 February 2022.
All children, even those who currently attend ELC and will be retaining will need to complete an application form online. They will have the option of retaining their current placement or applying to change their placement.
Children who will be 5 between the start of the school session and 31 December will need to come to the priority admissions panel on 28 February and 4 March 2022. We would advise parents/carers to register for ELC and Primary One for children who are applying to defer to ensure that a space is available for the child, depending on the outcome of the panel.
